Identifying the Issue
In the research and issue-defining phase, I initiated a discovery workshop with the Trayport team to delve into the current app's functionality and clarify the business objectives. This collaborative session provided a foundational understanding and set the stage for identifying key user needs.Following the workshop, I reviewed existing data and user interviews, uncovering critical insights into user behavior and pain points. Recognizing the need for deeper exploration, we conducted additional user interviews and research, which revealed nuanced challenges and opportunities for improvement. To inform our redesign strategy, I conducted thorough benchmarking and competitor analysis, which highlighted industry standards and best practices. Additionally, I developed a psychological data sheet, offering insights into user motivations and preferences. This comprehensive approach ensured that our solutions were user-centered, paving the way for a more intuitive and engaging app experience.
